Empowering Youth
At Shepherd of the Valley, we believe children and teens deserve a safe, welcoming space to explore their faith, ask big questions, and form meaningful friendships. Our youth program supports kids from kindergarten through high school with age-appropriate opportunities to connect, learn, and thrive. We values people for who they are—just as they are.
We offer Faith Formation for children in K–5th grades following worship, where stories, activities, and play come together to help younger kids learn about God’s love in ways that make sense to them. Older youth can engage in our Confirmation program, a fun and thoughtful journey into what it means to have faith and be part of a church. For middle through high school students, our youth program offers a mix of service projects, social events, small groups, and retreats designed to support emotional growth, spiritual development, and strong intergenerational relationships.
No matter your child’s personality or background, they’ll be welcomed and invited to bring their whole selves: questions, quirks, talents, and all.
